Astoria Love is a free Family Enrichment Center for people who live, work, or spend time in Astoria and nearby neighborhoods. It is a walk in space where parents, caregivers, youth, and neighbors can relax, learn, and build connections. All offerings and events are co designed with the community.
Anyone who lives, works, or spends time in Astoria and the nearby area is welcome. All programs and supports are free and open to the community.
Yes. All offerings and appointments are free for the community.
Offerings are community co designed events such as Baby Sensory, Mom’s Social Hour, or workshops. Appointments are one on one services such as laundry, cooking, or the boutique.
No. Astoria Love is a walk in space. You only need an appointment for select services such as laundry, cooking, and the boutique.
You can sign up through the website’s appointment tool or by calling the center. You will be asked for your name and a phone number or email so staff can confirm your appointment.
Some days are unavailable because the FEC is closed or staff cannot accommodate appointments due to high activity or offerings. The schedule will update automatically when appointments are not available.
Yes. Staff can register participants on the website on your behalf. You can also call the center and ask for help.
Offerings will appear on the website calendar with the date, time, location, and capacity. You can RSVP directly on the page. You can also call the center if you prefer staff to sign you up.
The calendar is viewable on the website and includes offerings, events, and days the FEC is closed. Staff update the calendar regularly.
